Black Max Acculine Tester Instructions

To test line:

  1. Turn the digital indicator on and let it warm up while you are putting on the line.
  2. Wind handle on the end to move the line holders together until they are approximately one inch apart.
  3. Cut about 3 feet of line to be tested. Take one end of the line and wrap it around the line holder 3 times. Now, take the second line holder and go around 3 times with the line and then go through the middle.
  4. Push peak button. This will lock the indicator on the highest breaking strength of the line.
  5. Push the zero button. It must be on "zero" when you start.
  6. Turn the handle until the line breaks. The breaking strength of the line will register on the indicator.
  7. The indicator will remain on breaking strength of the line tested until the zero button is pushed.

Note: Batteries should be kept charged. The batteries will operate the line tester for approximately 8 continuous hours on one overnight charge.

Caution: Protective eye ware should be used while operating the line tester as line will snap at breaking point.
